Our Club supports Key Club Sponsored Youth
President Giantonio hands over a Certificate of Recognition to President Nailah Sint Jago of Kiwanis Key Club Colegio Arubano as a token of appreciation in connection with their Key Club Week celebration in November 2005. The Key Club members have decorated our meeting room very nicely for this occassion.
Kiwanis Club of Aruba currently sponsors 1 Key Club. Key Clubs are designed to teach high school kids about the value of community service and to focus them on the positives surrounding them. Key Clubs get kids involved with many community service activities. Many Key Clubbers go on to leadership positions in the Key Club organization and assume leadership positions in other organizations and communities later in life. Typically, we donate about US $15,000 to support our Key Club at Colegio Arubano .
